Welcome back to the final TSL Quarterback Power Rankings of the season!
Yes, unlike our way more productive colleague the Godfather, we don't write articles during the playoffs. We like to sit back and just watch the show, the fireworks, the bloodbath, whatever you want to call it, without having to analyze anything. So, with this being our last article of the year, we've saved a lot for you. We have our final Top 25 Quarterbacks of the year and then our usual playoff division analysis where we look at each playoff race in detail to pick out any trends in the data we can find. Plus, some other stuff.
This is usually our longest article of the year with lots of time-consuming charts and graphs so we hope you enjoy it!

Division by Division Review of the TSL
For our final analysis of the season, we're going to show you the following:
And away we go!
Division 1

The Headline: Three favorites, two teams hoping to spoil the Finals party, and two looking forward to next season.
Underrated: The second ranked team in the D1 standings has the highest point differential… and they’re also undefeated with their starting Quarterback present. Eyes Downtown is ALREADY +15.6 on the season (fourth best in the TSL), and that number would jump to +23.5 (second best in TSL, and the best non-gender team) if we throw out the games Bobby didn’t make. This is the most underrated team in D1, if not all of TSL.
Overrated: It’s tough to call them “overrated” because they’re third in point differential and third in the standings, but Sticky Bandits finished +76 total points on the season… on the strength of a 65-6 win over Frodo’s backup’s backup QB. They’d actually STILL be third in point differential even without that game, but they’d be +2.4 PPG instead of +9.5, and that’s a pretty big difference.
Division 2

The Headline: Junior Eyes Downtown vs Junior Freeballers, plus three other good teams, and the Junior Lightning Falcons.
Underrated: The final standings were exactly in the order one would predict from their point differentials, so no major over or underrated teams here. We’ll take Let’s Get Reccked as the most underrated purely because of momentum – when a team starts 0-3 and finishes 5-0, you’d like to think “those guys figured out some stuff!”
Overrated: Let’s copy/paste the one above, but with a twist: The final standings were exactly in the order one would predict from their point differentials, so no major over or underrated teams here. We’ll take Bullet Club as the most overrated purely because of momentum – when a team starts 4-0 and finishes 0-4, you’d have to think “those guys are falling apart!”
Division 3

The Headline: Grey Hair overwhelming favorites, Stunts have a fighting chance. Three and a half other teams are also in this division.
Underrated: We’ll say Grey Hair – Don’t Care are the most underrated team in this division, simply because the gap between Grey Hair and Stunts (8.5 PPG) is about the same as the gap between Stunts and Mike’s (9.4 PPG) and yet Grey Hair is only being talked about as a favorite, not a MASSIVE favorite (which they are). If we had to bet on division winners, this one would be our second most confident behind Victorious Secret.
Overrated: The NUMBERS say that Cobblestone is underrated, because they’ve forfeited half of the season (yes, half of the season) but they haven’t done that badly when they’ve played. Maybe this means they’re not as bad as they look! Unfortunately, there are no subs for playoffs (not that they seem to use legal subs anyway) so unless they have a miracle turnaround for attendance over the next couple of weeks, Cobblestone will be playing shorthanded. We don’t like those odds, and they’re somehow our most overrated team even at 0-8.
Division 4

The Headline: The TSL’s best division this season is WIDE open, and 8 of 10 teams have a real chance of winning it all.
Underrated: Easy choice here: it’s PowerPuff Girls. They’re tied for second in their division in point differential, but they’re fifth in the standings? That’s exactly what we look for in “most underrated” teams. They had ONE bad game against Greater Value Tater Thots, and their other three losses were by 6, 1 and 1. They might lose in the playoffs at some point, but NO one is going to crush them.
Overrated: Flying Balls lost only two games this season against five wins (and a tie) which is usually the record of a great team. So why is their point differential only +2 PPG? That looks more like the mark of an average team that won some close games, than a team that was one win away from the top seed in their division.
Division 5

The Headline: Victorious Secret wins, someone else comes in second.
Underrated: It’s Victorious Secret. They won by +27.3 PPG. That is not competitive, that is “we are too good for this division”. They might win D4 in the Spring too. Nothing more to add here!
Overrated: Pit Harade finished 4-4 with the second worst point differential in the division, and it’s enough to put them in our red “pretender” category at -9.3 PPG. And if you throw out a seemlingly flukey 42 point win over 716ers, they’d actually be -16.6 PPG… fourth worst in the entire League. We aren’t betting on them going to the Championship game.
Division 6

The Headline: Three very good teams could win this division. The other five will not.
Underrated: Like D2, each team finished EXACTLY in the order that you’d predict based on their point differentials (this is actually pretty rare, by the way) so no one majorly overrated OR underrated here either. We’ll take Select as our most underrated team though, based on the strength of their games against the other top teams. Yes, they lost to Raw Milkers (everyone did) but only by one score. Their only other loss was by 3 points to Irish Giants back in August, and they avenged it with a 12 point win a few days ago. They’re not the front-runners (Raw Milkers have earned that right) but they’re not far off.
Overrated: We hate to pile on to a struggling team, but we’ll take Blitzed and Confused as our “most overrated” here. They’re -28.8 PPG, which is the worst in the TSL, and should have given them an 0-8 record. Instead they’re somehow 1-7 after beating Cat-Tastrophe by 8 points in the middle of the season. To win a championship though, they’ll likely have to beat two out of Raw Milkers, Select and Irish Giants… and they were outscored 14-130 in those three games.

Top Ten Best and Worst Lists for the 2026 Fall Season
The division analysis above is the real meat and potatoes of this article, but in case you're curious how you stack up against teams in OTHER divisions, here are the top ten (and bottom ten) teams in the entire TSL for offensive points per game, defensive points per game, and average point differential per game:

What did we learn from this?? The magic numbers for us are always 20 and 40. Nearly every team in this League averages between 20-40 PPG both offensively and defensively. If you're higher than 40 offensively or lower than 20 defensively, you're doing an amazing job. If you're lower than 20 offensively or higher than 40 defensively... you're probably not winning too many games.
This season we had six teams crack the 40 point mark, up from two in the Spring session. Congrats to Victorious Secret, our Fall 2026 scoring champs:

So, if Victorious Secret were the BEST offense, who were the worst? This season we had seven teams fail to make it to 20 PPG on offense. Those teams unsurprisingly went a combined 11-44-1 this season.
Then if we look at defenses, there were five teams that held opponents to under 20 PPG this session. On the other end of the spectrum, there were also five teams that allowed 40+ points per game. Here are your Defensive Champions from the last several years:

For teams on the "Worst of" lists in that Top Ten chart above, if you're looking to cheer yourselves up, it's worth taking a second to remember the "Worst of All-Time" team, Show Me Your TDs who finished the season with zero points scored, and 74.5 PPG scored AGAINST. No matter how bad your team was this session, we promise you, you were not THAT bad. They will live in infamy.
Besides the "40/20 Clubs", what else do we see from the best and worst units in the League? Victorious Secret, Grey Hair – Don’t Care, Eyes Downtown and Select were the only four teams in the League to make all three "Ten Best" lists for offense, defense and point differentials. There was only one team to make all three "Ten Worst" lists (sorry Blitzed & Confused!).
If you’re noticing a lot of great offensive numbers (or poor defensive numbers) for D1 teams, you’re not alone. Four of the top ten best offenses in the League (and six of the top 14) belonged to D1 teams… as did four of the five worst defenses, which makes sense. In fact, here’s each division’s average score per game per team, which confirms exactly what you already suspected about where the best QBs were:

All-Time Championship Statistics
A few years ago we compiled a list of every TSL champion in League history and devised a ranking system to see who the "best teams of all time" were. This was exhausting to research and put together, but it's now very simple to update once a session, so that's what we've done here. The timing feels right to update you all on this now JUST before playoffs so we can remind you what you're chasing here... co-ed football immortality. Here are the current immortals... all 104 recognized champions in TSL history:

THAT part is objective - the champs are the champs, and we'd like to think history will remember their achievements for 1,000 years to come (history classes will likely debate what exactly the "Tommy Hughes Experience" was).
This next part though is subjective: we then attempted to compare the relative strength of each division's championships to come up with a ranking system (a D2 title is harder to win than a D4 title) and this is what we landed on:
It's an arbitrary system of course, but it's the one we chose. So here is the updated list of your "greatest champions of all time" going into the Fall 2026 playoffs (active teams are highlighted below; split into two segments side-by-side to make font size more easily readable):

We always debate making a change to the math above so that subsequent championships in the same division would be worth less the second time around. After all, was it fair that Puckett kept improving their standings by winning D4 over and over? Shouldn't they have moved up before this session? But for now, we decided to leave it as is.
So where does that leave us today? Legends are, by this system, the greatest team in TSL history, alone in first place. Eyes Downtown is currently tied for third, and would be alone in third place with another win. Sticky Bandits could jump from 9th to 5th, and Freeballers could jump to 10th.
Legends have the most TOTAL TSL championships of all-time with six, but Eyes Downtown and Sticky Bandits (both contenders this session) are only one behind with five each.
Bottom line, people remember champions, not the teams who come in second place, so immortality can only be found by winning it all. Good luck!

That's it for the TSL Power Rankings this season! We can't possibly make any other charts for you at this point (this was exhausting) and we doubt anyone has read this start-to-finish anyway.
We don't currently have our own email address anymore, so if you have any thoughts on any of the above, please feel free to contact our good friend This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You tell him, he'll tell us. Good luck in the playoffs.
