Welcome back to the TSL QB Power Rankings!

What's the first thing you notice in this week's ranking?

Not a lot of change this week!  People often ask us "why don't you shake things up more?"

While that might be more interesting, it wouldn't be as accurate, and we strive to give you accuracy above all else.  Let's see why there was so little movement this week:

  • The #1 QB in the League won his game.  Did you think Bobby was going to drop?
  • The #2 QB in the League won his game and scored 41 points, but against a struggling opponent.  Did you think Mike was going to rise or drop?
  • The #3 QB in the League won his game and scored 47 points.  Did you think Joey was going to rise or drop?
  • The #4 QB in the League tied Frodo Swaggins then lost by one point with PWI.  Buddy can't rise if he didn't beat anyone, and he shouldn't drop below Ryan because he has a better record AND more points scored.
  • The #5 QB in the League lost his second consecutive game after scoring 43 points... and those games were against Sticky Bandits and Legends.    Ryan can't rise if he didn't beat anyone, and he can't drop if he keeps scoring points against great opponents.
  • The #6 QB in the League went 0-1-1 on Saturday, but nearly beat the #1 Ranked QB of the defending D1 champions.  Garrett didn't win a game so he can't rise, and he didn't lose to anyone who isn't ranked #1 in the League, so he can't drop either!
  • The #7 QB in the League is now the only undefeated QB in D2, and the only people ahead of him are D1 Quarterbacks who are playing great.  Jordan can't rise, he shouldn't drop!
  • It's not until we get to 8th vs 9th that we see any movement, as Bridget Masiello beat the System on Saturday.  True, Joe Miano was not present (John Langley subbed for the System), but we hold that against him and give credit to Bridget for both attendance and the win.
  • And finally, D-Generation XYZ scored 44 points and won, so Damien can't move up (he lost to the person above him) and he shouldn't move down.

It might seem dull, but that's why you're not seeing a lot of movement this week!  Don't worry, upsets are coming (they're never far away) and the Power Rankings WILL be shaken up soon, we wouldn't bet against it.

Fancy Statistics Section

Yeah, right.  You're not getting any fancy statistics out of us until at LEAST Week Four, and even then we'll tell you the sample size is too small to be meaningful (yes, we're going to copy/paste this line next week too, so get used to it)

That's it for the TSL Power Rankings this week!  If you have any thoughts about QB rankings, or you want to make sure we know who's throwing for your team, please feel free to contact our good friend This email address is being protected from spambots.
